Kim Kardashian spends $379G for Jackie Kennedy’s watch.

Kim Kardashian won't be a First Lady until at least 2020 — but at least now she can accessorise like one.The reality star — whose husband Kanye West frequently trumpets his plans to run for President — won an auction for one of Jackie Kennedy's watches by bidding a whopping $379,500.
Kardashian was awarded the coveted gold Cartier watch after entering the auction as an anonymous
bidder, according to TMZ. The watch was projected to go for $120,000 — but Kardashian more than tripled that.
Kennedy received the elegant timepiece as a present from her brother-in-law Prince Stanislaw Radziwill. It features the date Feb. 23, 1963, engraved into it — which was nine months before her husband John F. Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas.

The purchase is notable considering Kardashian promised she'd scale back on her jewellery after getting robbed at gunpoint of more than $5 million worth of items in her Paris hotel room last fall.
But the watch does not feature a single diamond — and Kardashian intends to actually wear it, according to TMZ.
The auction took place Wednesday at Christie's auction house in New York City. Kardashian also reportedly bid on a painting that Kennedy made, but it's unclear who won that entry.
